Memorial Complex “Khatyn” is a sacred place that preserves the memory of the tragic events of World War II. Every stone here reminds us of the innocent civilians who were killed and of the courage of those who selflessly fought for the freedom of their Homeland. Every third person died in Belarus during those terrible years, and we urge you to make a donation to maintain this unique monument so that the memory of the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people does not fade away.

On May 6, 2024, a landmark meeting between the Chairman of Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexei Kushnarenko and representatives of veterans' organizations took place on the territory of memorial complex “Khatyn”. The event was attended by activists of Belarusian Public Association of Veterans and Belarusian Union of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan.
On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, an exhibition of graphic works by contemporary Belarusian artists under the symbolic title «When a tear rolled down onto the ashes…» has opened at State Memorial Complex “Khatyn”.
On May 7, 2025, at 12:00, a screening of short films about the Great Patriotic War will take place in the lobby of Memorial Complex Museum “Khatyn”. The event will be held as part of the cultural program of the XI International Youth Film Festival "Movie Break".
Dear visitors! On April 29, May 1 and May 9, memorial complex “Khatyn” will be open from 10:00 to 17:30 (ticket office from 10:00 to 17:00).
On February 26, Khatyn Memorial Complex was pleased to host a delegation from the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This visit was a significant event, emphasizing respect for our common history and strengthening friendly ties between our peoples.
On May 1, a motor rally organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War, started. Law enforcement officers and their family members, cadets, students of the Ministry of Internal Affairs lyceums from all regions of the country took part in the rally. They will travel to places of military glory and sorrow to honor the memory of the dead.
On April 27, a delegation from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus visited memorial complex “Khatyn” to pay tribute to the victims of the Great Patriotic War on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The group of diplomats was headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Zhan Wenchuan.
